SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it read more difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
